Terms of Use

  1. The Lanai is a private, neighbor run network for verified residents of Ocean Club. It is not the Ocean Club Community Association, any tower association, or management, and it does not speak for them.
  2. Use your real name. Be kind. No personal attacks, no politics, and no campaign, petition or election content anywhere on the platform.
  3. Stewards may remove content and pause accounts that break these rules.
  4. Phone numbers are shared only between the two parties of an accepted request or a marketplace conversation. Do not share another member's information outside the app.
  5. Nothing here is medical, legal or financial advice.
  6. In any emergency call 911 first.

Volunteer Waiver

  1. Neighbors help neighbors at their own discretion and at their own risk.
  2. Ocean Angels are volunteers. There is no agency, employment, or payment relationship between members, Angels, stewards or The Lanai.
  3. Angels do not provide medical care, legal advice or professional services through this app. Medical companionship means company only.
  4. You are responsible for your own safety and property. You may decline or stop any request at any time.
  5. You release the volunteers and stewards of The Lanai from claims arising from help given or received, to the fullest extent the law allows.
  6. In any emergency call 911 first.
